Bathrooms are usually small rooms and, as such, are often short on space. Yet there is often quite a lot to store in a bathroom (particularly if there is a female or two in the house!), from spare toilet rolls to toiletries to towels. The right bathroom furniture can be a real space-saver, keeping everything neatly away so the room looks tidy instead of having bottles of liquids and potions piling up on windowsills and around the bath. However, when you come to choose your furniture, make sure that it matches the style of the rest of the bathroom, otherwise it could end up looking equally messy and out of place.
A vanity unit is perhaps one of the best pieces of bathroom furniture you can get, as it uses space that would otherwise be wasted under the basin rather than taking up additional floor space for a separate unit. With a built-in basin, or designed to house your existing basin, you can stash away all those toiletries or cleaning products out of sight, with a nice cupboard door which complements the rest of your bathroom decor. Many ranges also incorporate a mirror as part of the unit, or have matching mirrors or bathroom cabinets available also.
Vanity units with two basins are another great choice if you have the space in your bathroom to accommodate one. With this style of unit, you also get extra storage space underneath, which is ideal for two of you (or more) as there will be generally be more to store!
